Membership Information

We are a group of friends who enjoy meeting new people with a common interest in automobiles and the fellowship of our members. Our goals are: (1) to have fun by participating in various social events with our members, (2) promote an interest in automobiles, (3) to support our community through active participation in local events and, (4) to participate in and contribute to charitable events (501(c)(3)).

Some of the club-sanctioned events we participate in include frequent car shows and parades and cruises to other places of interest. We have an annual Christmas party at a local eatery, an annual club picnic and numerous other activities coordinated by our Cruise Director. On each Tuesday following our general membership meeting, our club ladies get together for a monthly luncheon (no car talk allowed). In addition, many of our members travel to more distant venues to attend car shows as representatives of our club. The following list of events represents those activities that we strive to support each year, but in no way excludes other events members may choose to attend. Participation is encouraged but never mandatory.

• 4th-of-July Parade
• Christmas Lights Parade each December
• Many cruises and car shows

Who can join? Anyone who wishes. We welcome members of other organizations in the Route 66 Car Club of Flagstaff. The only requirement of membership is that you have a genuine interest in automobiles. You need not be the owner of a classic car or hot-rod to become a member. Any vehicle is welcome. Many of our members have extensive experience with automobile construction and restoration and some are veritable “walking encyclopedias” of car trivia.

For membership information, contact our Membership Chairman, Kathy McKee, at (928)853-0912. To download a membership application click HERE.

Our annual dues are $35.00 due on January 1. Our general membership meetings are held at the Sizzler Restaurant located at 3540 E. Santa Fe Ave. (Route 66) in Flagstaff on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Anyone interested in who we are is encouraged to attend.
